I’m a storyteller at heart—whether I’m writing about race and identity, leading conversations on systems change, or building better consumer experiences in business.
As a multiracial, Black transracial adoptee raised in a white family, I learned early that survival requires more than just fitting in—it requires learning how systems work so you can begin to change them. That thread runs through everything I do.
I’ve worn many titles—Army veteran, digital strategist, DEI advocate, marketing leader—but what connects them all is my commitment to truth-telling and community-building. My writing explores the intersections of race, queerness, power, and belonging, blending personal narrative with social science and organizational behavior. I write to challenge comfort, spark dialogue, and offer blueprints for accountability in both life and leadership.
I hold degrees in Organizational Studies and Behavioral Sciences, and an MBA in Marketing and People & Strategy from the Claremont Colleges. I’ve led workshops on inclusion and mental health, spoken at conferences on DEI and LGBTQ+ advocacy, and helped build community both online and off.
Whether I’m sharing my story, consulting on strategy, or pushing organizations to do better, I believe vulnerability is a strength—and storytelling is how we build a future rooted in justice, joy, and collective liberation.
